Dear NGI Scholarship program,
Thank you for your generosity in supporting our initiation to Pinewoods. We were pleasantly surprised by the range of activities. From jamming under the pavilion to street hockey to harmony singing to afternoon swimming, it was a genuinely delightful weekend. And of course the dancing was both instructive and enjoyable. It felt like a wonderful balance of structured time for classes and dances and free time for relaxation and socializing. Due to the orientation, tour and packet of welcome materials, we quickly became comfortable finding our way around the camp. The meals far exceeded our expectations. We still remember the tasty biscuits, creamy lasagna and delicious apple pie. Our cabin was idyllic, cozy and welcoming. Above all we made friends and connections with people who we hope to stay in touch with for many years to come, and we hope to continue our involvement in the dance community.
