Waterfront
Pinewoods has waterfront access to two freshwater lakes — Long Pond and Round Pond. The Long Pond swimming area has a main dock, a smaller boat dock with canoes, kayaks, a raft, and a large, roped swimming area. Lifeguards (staffed by the program providers) are on duty at specified times of day. Changing-rooms, paddles, life-vests, and other flotation devices are available. Round Pond has a smaller dock and raft, and while there are no changing rooms here, campers are close to Pinecones and Hunsdon House.
Between a variety of decks, porches, and small sandy beaches, there are lovely spaces to enjoy scenic views of each pond. You are never far away from the water!
