Session Attended: CDS Boston Centre - Labor Day Weekend (2009)
Dear CDS-Boston Centre,
I would like to thank you for giving me the full scholarship for Labor Day weekend ‘09 at Pinewoods. Although I was rather disoriented at first what with finding my way around, come night fall I managed to get where I was going without a light! The kids there are great, although I already knew most of them, I did make some new friends, and we all had a blast together! I learned that some Morris traditions are absolutely ridiculously difficult, and yet still very fun. Contra dancing at night then going down for a dip was extremely refreshing, and I was surprised as to how warm the water was even at night. This is the first time I’ve done contra not in an enclosed space, and it was exhilarating. I can honestly say that you will be seeing me back not only for Labor Day weekend, but also many more. I can’t wait till summer to go and dance for 2 months strait! I can honestly say that my time there was so amazing I want to bring more people with me! I hope to see you all again next year.
